September 19th, 2026 Release Notes
This release introduces SPARC, our new portfolio and risk management tool, adds support for live risk pricing through the close via new SRSE tables, MLink messages, and UI settings, adds DRAM to extended trading hours, and includes a number of Symbol Viewer, Order Manager V2, and Hedge Tool enhancements.

New Risk Views Page
A new Risk Views page documents how SpiderRock Connect segments live risk records by risk view, which replaces the earlier risk session model and keeps live risk available through the close. The page covers:
- The Live and Close risk views and how each handles pricing and position quantities
- How the legacy RiskSession values map to RiskView
- The default risk view for an account and the Calculations & Visuals panel setting that overrides it
- The V6 risk messages that carry the riskView field in SRSE and MLink
Updated Execution Risk Controls Page
The Execution Risk Controls page has been updated to document MAR risk levels and futures permissioning: how each account declares a stack of levels — one per oversight relationship — with MarRiskControl and MarRiskControlTkOverride records keyed to a level and evaluated independently, how a ticker override settles only the level it is keyed to, and how futures and options on futures are enabled through the futEnabled and futOptEnabled flags. The control-metric table now lists the asset-class enablement flags and the futures limits that sit on MAR ticker override records, and MAR and Supervisory control edits are proposed as Change Requests that take effect only when a reviewer merges them.

Updated SPARC Application Anatomy
The SPARC Manual now walks the application as a single top-to-bottom stack of sections, adding coverage of the Header, Dashboard, Account Bar, chip filter row, and symbol column and charts, along with the module groups that drive the tab strip and which of them a user's role exposes. It also documents the Risk Control modules — MAR Risk Viewer, MAR Risk Ctrls, Supervisory Ctrls, SymRisk Counters, and the propose-and-review Change Requests queue — plus column sets, the column set customizer, in-app guides, and SPARC Settings.
August 22nd, 2026 Release Notes
This release introduces support for SpiderRock algos via Bloomberg EMSX, the ability to toggle Block and Flash Auctions on and off in parent orders, a new Expires Today strike scope and sortable Load/Open Settings columns in the Symbol Viewer, and various bug fixes.

This release adds a new RiskSession.Close record capturing the 2:55 PM CST SpiderRock close mark, SRSE command support for the srrisk.msgClientBeta table, extended trading hours support for newly listed options, new hedge greeks in SymbolRiskSummaryV5, and several Symbol Viewer enhancements.

We've published a new SPARC Manual covering SpiderRock's central interface for monitoring and managing the full lifecycle of options trading activity. The manual includes:
- A walkthrough of SPARC's three-section layout: Tabs, Summary Cards, and Aggregations/Details
- A step-by-step guide on order tracking from entry in IGNITE to monitoring in SPARC
- Per-module reference covering Executions, Single Orders, MLeg Orders, PnL, and Risk
May 30th, 2026 Release Notes
This release includes added support for certain cross-product auto-hedging, new VegaDir fields, order entry via futures expiry cards in IGNITE, position risk tables in the option montage, and more.

The SpiderRock Connect documentation homepage has been redesigned with a refreshed look and improved layout. Updates include:
- New hero banner with a landscape photo and updated typography
- Refreshed display card layout in the main section
- Updated Recent Updates and Resources sections with SpiderRock brand colors
- New card corner design in the Recent Updates and Resources sections
- Improved Get Started and What's New button styling
V7 to V8 Migration Guide & General Changes Page
The V7 to V8 Migration page has been redesigned as a structured, step-by-step client guide covering everything needed to move from V7 to V8 — including establishing connectivity, trading via Citrix, IGNITE, and SRSE, the account migration process, and third-party integration coordination.
A new companion General Changes page has also been added, documenting all key platform differences introduced in V8 — including SRSE schema changes, new WebApp tools, the SpiderRock ATS, updated execution risk controls, Strategy Accounts, and more.
Migration to V8 must be completed by August 31st, 2026.
