FIX

SpiderRock Connect supports FIX connectivity for order entry, execution management, and market interaction. The following describes the available gateways, drop servers, and development environments:

• SpiderRock Connect includes an Order Entry FIX gateway for entering and managing parent orders and their associated execution engine ParentBrokers.
• Clients can interact with various exchanges as well as our new SpiderRock ATS via the child orders generated from these execution engine ParentBroker algorithms.
• FIX Drop Servers are available for execution-only, parent order, and child order FIX message streams.
• Our production and certification FIX gateways are accessible via cross-connect, VPN, or private network during normal market hours.
• We operate Sandbox environments that allow clients to develop against and practice with prior to certifying or sending live orders. These sandboxes run either the current production code or a pre-release version, contain a limited number of symbols, use simulated data, are available 23/7, and do not require live market data authorization or special network access.
