WebApp Tool Suite

The SpiderRock Connect WebApp Tool Suite is a collection of trading applications that can run inside a web browser or as stand-alone desktop applications. In some cases these applications will make either HTTP/REST or HTTP/WebSocket type connections back to servers in SpiderRock Connect system environment data centers. Applications typically connect, on a round robin basis, to the next available server in one of our server pools. These application can connect over normal internet connections from almost any global location. The can also connect via private networks and VPN. Regardless, all communication is over fully public/private key encrypted HTTPS style connections.

Access to the Tool Suite is via username and phone app or sms text based MFA codes. Username and access credentials are issued by SpiderRock staff on request from a qualified person from your firm.

SpiderRock user accounts contain all of the access permission details for a given user. This includes the market data that user is authorized to access, the live data objects they can interact with, the trading accounts they are able to see, and the types of order management activities they can engage in. All of which can be modified at any time by authorized SpiderRock, Client Firm, or Sponsor Parent administrative persons.

The SpiderRock Connect Tool Suite apps can connect to our production servers (Saturn environment with live data and trading across all markets), our staging (pre-release Venus environment with live data for a limited number of symbols), or our development sandbox environments (fake data and simulated trading for a limited number of symbols). Production and staging require users to have valid market data credentials. Sandboxes are available to any user.
